11th A.S. Ali Pentangular Blind Cricket Trophy 2019: Day 3
The 11th Edition of “A.S.Ali Pentangular Blind Cricket Trophy 2019” continued if the the 3rd Day with two matches being played.
The results were as follows:
1st Match: Bahawalpur vs Peshawar – Hazara University, Mansehra
Bahawalpur beat Peshawar by 2 wickets. Batting first, Peshawar was bowled out for only 225 runs in 28.1 overs. Mohsin Khan made 40 runs. Mujeeb ur Rehman took 3 wickets while Shahzeb and Usman shared 2 wickets each.
In reply, Bahawalpur chased the target in 27.1 overs by losing their 8 wickets. Muhammad Ejaz made 43 runs and Moeen remained unbeaten on 39 runs. Mohsin Khan took 4 wickets. Haroon Khan and Rahid Ullah fetched 2 wickets each.
Result: Bahawalpur won by 2 wickets.

2nd Match: Islamabad vs Okara – Abbottabad Cricket Stadium
Islamabad won the toss and put Okara into bat. Okara hammered the Islamabad bowlers and made enormous total of 449 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in stipulated 40 overs.
Muhammad Akram was the star for Okara, he scored unbeaten 242* runs. Badar Muneer also shined with the bat, he made 81 runs. Idrees Saleem took 1 wicket.

In reply Islamabad’s team made 398 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in allotted quota of 40 overs. Akmal Hayyat was their top scorer with 139 runs and Shahzeb Haider made 136 runs. Badar was the pick among the bowlers, he took 3 wickets and Akram claimed 1 wicket.
Result: Okara won by 51 runs
