13th South Asian Games 2019 – Squash: Pak Team Selection & Training Process Initiated
ISLAMABAD: The 13th South Asian Games 2019 are scheduled to be held at Kathmandu, Nepal from 1st-10th December, 2019. This event was planned to be held from 9th – 18th March 2019.
The following eight nations participate: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka.
Pakistan will be sending its Squash teams during these Games for participation in Individual & Team events. Thereby PSF – Pakistan Squash Federation has announced that the selection process will be initiated through the Men & Women International Tournament being held in Islamabad between 26th – 30th August, 2019 for only Pakistani players. The tournament carries prize money of US$ 10,000 for Men and US$ 5,000 for Women event.

The PSF spokesman explained that, PSF committee has decided that based upon the performance of Pakistani players in mentioned tournament, the best Men & Women players would be shortlisted and would be kept under regular training at PNSA, Islamabad. Their performance during training, future national / international events would be closely monitored by PSF. And after their detailed evaluation / assessment of their performance, training the best possible Men & Women players would be finalized for participation in South Asian Games.
