Sezgin Atac and Fatma Demir both from Turkey won the IHM-Istanbul Half Marathon 2020 for the male and female category respectively.
IHM is one of the top eight semi-marathons in the world which this year hosted 47 world elite athletes.
In the men’s category, Atac finished the 21 km (13 miles) run in 1 hour, 3 minutes and 16 seconds, while Demir completed the same distance in 1 hour, 13 minutes and 17 seconds in the women’s race.
The event was sponsored by Vodafone and strict safety measure were taken to ensure well being of the participants.
No spectators were allowed.
