The executive meeting of the BFA-Baseball Federation of Asia has selected Pakistan as host the 16th West Asia Cup 2024.
Pakistan Federation Baseball announced will organize the event in Islamabad or Lahore in October in consultation with Pakistan Sports Board and Sports Board Punjab. The venue and dates will be announced soon. Pakistan has successfully hosted the West Asia Cup in 2023. This year, teams from India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Iraq, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Palestine and Bangladesh will participate in the event. The Pakistan team will defend its title.

The Executive Committee meeting of BFA also confirmed the decisions to hold the U-18 Championship in Taiwan in September and the U-12 Championship in Japan in November 2024.
Pakistan Federation Baseball, Secretary General, Syed Fakhar Ali Shah, informed that our U-12 and U-18 teams will also participate in the scheduled Asian Championships. It should be noted here that the above-mentioned both events are also qualifying rounds of the World Cup. The top three teams from these events will qualify for the U-12 and U-18 World Cups.
