The First Baseball5 Asia Cup being competed by nine teams will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from 17th-19th August. The event will qualify three medal winners for the WBSC Baseball5 World Cup, to be staged in Mexico City from 7th-13th November.
The nine participating teams have been divided in three groups:
Group A
Korea, Malaysia, Thailand
Group B
Hong Kong China, Japan, Philippines
Group C
Pakistan, Singapore, Chinese Taipei
Schedule
17th August
The overall group stage matches will take place on the same day, with two top teams of each group qualifying for Super Round.
18th August
The top two teams in each group will play the Super Round matches.
19th August
The Semifinals and Final will be held to crown the first-ever Baseball5 Asian champions.
