The golf playing Ladies of Lahore converged to the immaculate par 72 Royal Palm Golf Course to honour, acclaim and revere the memory of Father of the Nation by actively competing in the 1st Quaid-e-Azam Ladies Golf Tournament contested over 18 holes stroke play format. Intent and purpose of this tournament was blooming and blossoming of ladies golf and hence on the block were four segments that included Gold Category for ladies who play to a handicap of 0-15, Silver category for players whose golf playing handicap is in the range 16-24 and Bronze category for the relatively new ones whose handicap is between 25-36. And as for the senior ladies they competed in their own age bracket, 60 years plus.
During the course of the 18 holes encounter noticeable was the combativeness and even hostility as each aspirant was yearning to do well. Participants in the handicap category 0-15 showed ample finesse in their shot making and the single handicappers like Ghazala Yasmin (Lahore Garrison), Parkha Ijaz and Rimsha Ijaz (Defence Raya) were seen hitting their powerful drives in the 250 yards plus distance reach. The gross winner in this category (Handicap 0-15 ) was Ghazala Yasmin with a score of gross 79. Runner up was Parkha Ijaz and Rimsha Ijaz secured third gross position.
2nd FEGA Ladies Golf Championship 2019: 13 Year Old Hamna Succeeds
In the race for honours in net section, Ana James Gill of Royal Palm played to potential and acquired the first net prize with a commendatory score of net 72. And the little one Bushra Fatima (Lahore Garrison ) played steadfastly to ensure the second net position for herself. Her score was net 76. Zaib un Nisa (Royal Palm ) came third with a score of 77 net.
The gross section performers in handicap category 16-24 were Amina Tiwana (Royal Palm), winner gross, Shahnaz Moeen (PAF Skyview) runner up gross and Uzma Khursheed (Gymkhana), 3rd place gross. Net winner was Shahzadi Gulfam (Garrison), Shaheen Irfan (Defence Raya ), 2nd net and Shahbana Waheed (Garrison) 3rd net.

A sublimely well managed event in accordance with its distinguished title by ladies team headed by Minaa Zainab and prizes for the top performers included golfing equipment like golf bags and golf clubs.
