1st U-16 Boys National 7s Rugby Championship 2017: Lahore team wins
Lahore team won the 1st U16 National Sevens Rugby Championship final, played at Pakistan Rugby Academy Lahore.
Although the favourites were the Desert Camels Fort Abbas, however, from the first half, Lahore dominated the game . In the first half Lahore captain Imsal, scored a try and enabled Lahore to take a lead but before the first half ended Desert Camels Fort Abbas scored the equalizer. By the end of 2nd half, Bilal of Lahore scored the winning try for his team to win the 1st Under 16 National Rugby Championship.

Before the final encounter, in the first semifinal – Fort Abbas beat Muzaffargarh by 26-05 and in the 2nd semifinal – Lahore beat Faisalabad by 12-5.
In 3rd – 4th position match Muzaffargarh beat Faisalabad by 10-5. While in the 5th – 6th position match, Lodhran beat Islamabad by 15-0 and won the 5th position.
