Bikestan Cycling Academy won overall team trophy and Army was runner-up of National Tour of Islamabad Cycle race. Mr. Shah Wali was declared overall Champion in Elite & Junior Category, while Miss Bisma Chaudhry was declared female overall Champion. In the Masters category Abdul Wahab of Karachi was declared champion.
The National Tour of Islamabad Cycle Races with 135 cyclists was held from 9th to 11th December 2022 organized by Islamabad Cycling Association and Pakistan Cycling Federation.
Stage 01: Islamabad to Monal:
Individual time trial stage one was won by Muhammad Bilal or Army followed by Shah Wali of Bikestan in Elite Men category while Miss Bisma of Bikestan was first in female followed by Zainab Rizwan. In Masters Category Abdul Wahab of Karachi took first position followed by Mr. Daniel Clauss of Germany and Umayr Sahlan of Islamabad took third Position.
Stage 02: Islamabad to Murree.
This stage was won by Mr. Shabeer Hussain of Balochistan followed by Shah Wali of Bikestan and Asif took third position. In Women category Miss Bisma Chaudhary of Bikestan stood first followed by Zainab Rizwab and Zara Zahid of Bikestan. In Masters category Abdul Wahab of Karachi won followed by Daniel Clauss of Germany and George Feibig of Australia took 3rd position.
Stage 03: Road Race in Islamabad.
Stage 3 was won by Mr. Abid Siddique of Army A, followed by Mr. Ali Ilyas of Bikestan and Nabi Ullah of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In Women category Miss. Bisma Chaudhary of Bikestan won the stage followed by Zainab Rizwan and Zara Zahid of Bikestan. In Masters category, Mr. Daniel Clauss of Germany took first position followed by Abdul Wahab and Umayr Sahlan of Islamabad at 3rd.
Closing ceremony was held at Arts & Craft village, with Mr. Muhammad Usman Younis Chief Commissioner Islamabad along with Mr. Syed Azhar Ali Shah, President Pakistan Cycling Federation Syed Azhar Ali Shah distributing the prizes and awards.
