The New Khan Punjab Junior Tennis Championship reached the semifinals stage as 12 matches were decided at Punjab Tennis Academy, Bagh-e-Jinnah, Lahore. The result were as follows:
Boys U-18 quarterfinals: Asad Zaman (Ali Embroidery Mills) took little time to brush aside Ameer Hamza 6-1 to book berth in the semifinals. Muhammad Ahtesham was the other one, who also qualified for the semifinals of boys U-18 after playing well against Ismail Ahmad and outpacing him by 6-2.
Boys U-16 quarterfinals: Ameer Hamza did short work to outclass Aized Khalil 6-1. In the boys U-14 quarterfinals, M Sohaan Noor did well against Naad e Ali and thrashed him by 6-0 while Abdullah Pirzada trounced Aalay Husnain 6-0 and Hashir Alam thumped Eesa Bilal 6-2.
Boys/girls U-12 quarterfinals: SICAS’ Abdur Rehman (AAA Associates) hammered Ayyan Shahbaz 6-0, Romail Shahid outsmarted Eesa Khan Malik 6-1, Hajra Suhail (SCIAS) defeated Bismel Zia 6-3 and Aalay Husnain beat Muaz Shahbaz 6-3.
