The golfing contest for the September 2023 Royal Palm Monthly Medal Golf Event was actuated at the beautiful par-72 Royal Palm Golf Course. Competition format was stroke play and with participants like Qasim Ali Khan, Hussain Hamid, Abdul Islam Nazir and Shahid Abbas Awan in the run for honours the prestige seeking golfing pursuit became combative. Undoubtedly talented ones like Shahid Abbas Awan, Rafaqat Hussain, Arif Shah and Haseeb Shah played skillfully, yet could not match the deftness of national level golfers like Qasim Ali Khan and Hussain Hamid and had to concede victory to them.

Qasim Ali Khan is the top ranked golf amateur of the country and during the course of this 18 holes contest, he was eminently prime in his shot making and managed to come up with a score of gross 72 which reflects on his control and command. While Qasim Ali Khan was foremost player in the handicap category 0-12, his nearest adversary Hussain Hamid secured the runners up slot with a score of gross 77.
As for the race in the net category of 0-12 handicap, Mian Rashid attained the first net prize by playing within his handicap range. He won through a score of net 72 and the runner up Abdul Islam Nazir also accumulated the same score of net 72 but lost the first net to Mian Rashid by virtue of the count back rule. Mian Rashid had a better score on the back nine.

In the handicap category 13-18 the upcoming players who ended up contented with their performances are Kashif Gillani and Hassan Naseem in the gross section and Jaudat Hussain and Zaeem Haider in the net section .
Honours in Senior Section were achieved by Rana Usman, first gross and Faisal Sayid, first net.
