Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem and India’s Neeraj Chopra after topping their respective World Athletics groups, fought in a nerve reckoning final. With a hair line difference Neeraj was able to win the gold and Nadeem the silver.
Indian with the best javelin throw attempt of 88.17m won the World Athletics Championship gold medal. And Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem finished second with a 87.82m throw.
This performance also qualifies both stalwarts for Paris Olympics 2024
