16-year-old Egyptian Amina Orfi successfully defended her WSF World Junior Championship title for second year in a row in the Melbourne Sports Centres, Australia. Throughout the match which lasted for 31 minutes, she was in commanding form, especially due to her hard hits caused her opponent to never settle. Initially, in the match Azman was competitive and edged to 8-7 lead in the first game, however, Amina struck back and won four straight points to take the first game 11-8. From there on Amina started to take control and rapidly concluded the final by comprehensively winning the second and third games.
