The women’s World Cup of Tennis announced that The 2024 BJKC-Billie Jean King Cup will be held in Málaga, Spain, and take place alongside the men’s DC-Davis Cup Final 8.
The BJKC matches dates and schedule will be from 13th-20th November 2024. While the Davis Cup Final 8 match schedule and dates will take place from 19th-24th November 2024.
The two biggest women tennis finals were to be played in Sevilla a town 130 miles from Malaga. However, the relocation was required by the event’s host partner, Junta de Andalucía, and supported by the City and Diputacion of Málaga which has been hosting the Davis Cup Final 8 since 2022.
The Billie Jean King Cup – formerly 1963-1995 was known as Federation Cup and from 1995-2020 as Fed Cup – was launched in 1963 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the ITF-International Tennis Federation.
Presentl, it has become the women’s world’s largest annual international team competition, with a record 132 nations competing in 2023.
