The trials for the selection of three players for the Pakistan team for 16& under Boys’ Davis Cup Juniors team were conducted from 17th to 19th January 2024, at PTF-SDA Tennis Complex, Islamabad.
The selected team will travel to Sri Lanka from the 19th till 24th of February 2024, and participate in the Pre-Qualifying event of the Asia/Oceania Davis Cup Junior 16 & under fir Boys’.
Eight players were invited for the trials. Based on the performance of each player and their current PTF 16&under ranking, the following three players were selected:
Hamza Roman – Mikaeel Ali Baig – Abubakar Talha
Mikaeel is USA-based and was awarded a wild card. Aqeel Khan will be accompanying the team as Captain and Coach.
