2nd Socca World Cup ’19: Pakistan Loses Match 2 Against Romania
KARACHI: Pakistan Socca football team lost its second Socca World Cup game to Romania in Group ‘H’ in Crete, Greece.
According to information made available here, Pakistan conceded an own-goal from its player Mohammad Ali, who mistakenly sent the ball into his team’s own goal posts while trying to pass the ball to goalkeeper. Later Pakistan conceded four more goals to lose the game by 5-0 score.
In the first match, Pakistan won against Slovenia with the score 5-1.
Earlier, in another Group ‘H’ game, the match between Romania and Germany ended in a 3-3 draw.
With the win against Pakistan, Romania tops Group ‘H’ with four points. Slovenia and Hungary have three points after having played one match each. Germany sits at fourth position after managing one point from two outings.
Meanwhile in other matches, India drew its match against Peru 2-2 in a Group ‘F’ fixture.
In a Group ‘C’ match, the match between Poland and Wales also ended up in a tie with 1-1 score-line.
China defeated Iraq 3-0 in a Group ‘G’ match.
In a Group ‘B’ encounter, Brazil defeated Turkey 1-0.
