KARACHI: On Day-3 two matches of 3rd PPL Blind Cricket Super League were played at Karachi.
Sindh also won 2 games out of played 2. KPK with this 3rd defeat has been ruled out in the race of reaching in the Final. KPK will play its last league match tomorrow with Islamabad.
Sindh and Balochistan will lock their horns tomorrow to take first position on points table. They both have 2 games left.

- Sindh also have 6 points in 2 games,
- Islamabad 3 points in 2 games,
- Punjab 3 points in 3 games and
- KPK 0 point in 3 games.

Match No. 5:
Punjab Vs Balochistan – Venue: Rashid Latif Cricket Academy, Karachi
Todays 1st Match and the 5th Match of the event was played between Punjab and Balochistan.
Balochistan once again won the toss and decided to bowl first. Punjab changed the opening pair this morning but it didn’t work. Changing the batting order of in-form opener Moeen Aslam fired back at Punjab. Today openers Mohsin Khan and Naseeb Ullah got out after scoring 13 and 36 runs respectively.
Sajid Nawaz bowling dented the progress of Punjab as he took 3 quick wickets, dismissing Noman Tahir on 1, Iftikhar Tiger on 4 and Moeen Aslam on 23 runs. Moeen Aslam, who had scored two successive tons in 2 previous games, missed out today. Fakhar Abbas 28 and Zafar Iqbal’s 20 helped Punjab to reach 182 runs all out in 30.2 overs. This is the lowest total of this tournament so far. Sajid was the pick amongst the bowlers, he claimed 3 for 46 and Badar Munir picked 2 wickets for 33 runs in his 7 overs.
Balochistan chase to the total was just the mere outing for their openers, Captain Badar Munir once again stand out with the bat, he hammered the Punjab wayward bowling at his will and made rapid unbeaten 129 runs off just 54 balls, featuring 25 (4’s) and 2 huge sixes, his112 runs came in the shape of boundaries, Akmal Hayat, the other opener also remained not out on 41* runs off 33 balls.
Balochistan reached the target of 183 runs in just 14 overs without losing a wicket. Balochsitan won 2 games out of 2 played. Punjab, who won the first game against KPK, lost 2 in a row, versus Islamabad and Balochistan. Punjab’s chances to reach in the final with a big margin loss today has been squeezed, they still have one game left versus Sindh on 14th February 2020 but chances are minute.

Match No. 6
KPK Vs Sindh – Venue: PAF Faisal Airbase Ground, Karachi
Event’s 6th match was played between KPK and Sindh. KPK won the toss and decided to bowl first. Sindh openers played aggressively and piled up the partnership of 178 runs in 14 overs. Nisar Ali was the first to go and bit unfortunate to get run out on 99 runs, he used up 50 balls to score these runs with the help of 14 boundaries.
Sana Ullah also played well for his 97 runs off 74 balls, Muhammad Faisal innings of 71 runs helped KPK passing four hundred runs mark. KPK scored 424 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in stipulated 40 overs. Mati Ullah took 2 wickets for 48 runs in 7 overs and Nisar Awan also took 2 wickets.
KPK in reply, abled to make 371 runs in allotted 40 overs for the loss of 8 wickets. Tahir Ali 88 and Riasat Khan 68 were their main contributors. Saqib Ali took 2 wickets, Shahzaib Hyder, Abdul Razzaq and Noman Tahir shared a wicket a piece.
Result: Sindh won by 53 runs
