Pakistan’s Amir Khan won the gold medal at the World Taekwondo Championships hosted from 10th to 12th August at Assumption University of Thailand in Bangkok.

The 22-year-old athlete belonging to the Swat city, excelled from among athletes representing 30 countries. 

Amir Khan, hailing from Mingora in Swat, due to his exceptional resilient performance defeated Taekwondoins from Japan, India and the Philippines.
