Pakistan’s Mohammad Huzaifa Ibrahim scored his 35th international by winning the Houston Open Under-19 Squash Championship 2024 title at the Houston Squash Arena Texas, USA.
He achieved the winning distinction by defeating American player Christian Capella in a commandeering manner in three straight games and final score of 3-0 in the final. The game wise score was 11-4, 11-8, and 12-10.
In the semifinal, Mohammad Huzaifa Ibrahim defeated America’s Rustin Wiser 3-2 after a competitive encounter with game scores of 3-1, 11-8, 8-11, 11-9, and 12-10.
In the 2023 Championship, which was hosted in Melbourne, Australia, the 16-year-old Amina Orfi from Egypt won her second consecutive women’s individuals title. In men’s category, Pakistan’s Hamza Khan lifted the title and became the first champion after world squash icon Jansher Khan in 1986.
