Xabi Alonso has achieved what nobody in the 119 years’ history of Club could; Leverkusen are Bundesliga Champions of season 2023-24 and that too with 15% of the league matches still to go for the season ending. They remained Runners-Up 5 times previously but this season they have played brilliantly. They have attacked ferociously and defended solidly, conceding only 22 goals in the 31 Bundesliga matches they have played so far.
