The Pakistan Women’s Volleyball Team is on a training tour to Italy, which is a significant development in preparation for upcoming international tournaments.
The PVF-Pakistan Volleyball Federation expressing its confidence and acknowledging the importance of such training tours explained that, the training tour is to focus on enhancing the team’s skills in order to build their strength, endurance and inculcate teamwork and strengthen comradeship. The team in order to get professional exposure will be involved in extensive training sessions and play matches against local clubs.
The Head Coach is Alessandra Campedelli from Italy, who is assisted by coaches of Pakistan Malik Zahid and Waseem Rana.
The team is Captained by Amna and Vice-Captain Rashida Shakeel. The Captain stated, “We are thrilled to have this opportunity to train in Italy and compete against top-notch teams.” Added that “We are confident that this tour will help us improve our game and make us a stronger contender in international competitions.”
