Match Highlights:

• Nahida Khan and Bismah Maroof laid the platform for Pakistan as the duo took Pakistan to a defend-able total in 20 overs.
• As for Sri Lanka’s bowling, apart from Kumari and Prabodhani no bowler was much impressive to stop Pakistan from putting up a fighting total.
• Sri Lanka needed 137 runs to win from 20 overs. Mendis and Hansika shared a solid stand as Sri Lanka were on course of winning this match.
• However, Nida Dar disrupted their plans as she took 5 wickets in her 4 overs to demolish Sri Lanka’s batting line-up.
• She was well-supported by other bowlers as Sri Lanka could only manage 113 runs in 20 overs and lost the match by 23 runs.

• In the 1st innings they could only manage to score 36 runs in 20 overs. And, this total was easily chased by Thailand Women for the loss of 1 wicket.

Match Highlights:

• India lost their first match of the Women’s Asia Cup T20 as Bangladesh won the match by 7 wickets.
• Rumana Ahmad was the undisputed hero as after restricting India to 141 runs in 20 overs, the all-rounder scored 42 runs off the bat to march Bangladesh to victory.
