Single’s: Roger Federer vs Denis Kudla
Result: Roger Federer defeated Denis Kudla by 7-6(1), 7-5.
Highlights:
- Both the players gave their best performance in the opening set of the match as it eventually came to a tie-breaker.
- However, Denis Kudla tried his best to win the set but he lost it in the end after he failed to score three points on his serve.

- The match moved on to the second set and this time Denis Kudla opened the scoring of this set.
- Roger and Denis both were looking confident and were scoring points one after the other.

- The score soon was levelled at 5-5. But in the end it was Roger Federer who claimed the victory in the second set.

Result: Borna Coric defeated Roberto Bautista Agut by 3-2.
Highlights:
- The match started and Roberto Bautista Agut took the lead in the opening set.
- It was all going well that suddenly Roberto Bautista slipped while playing a shot and injured himself.

- After some time, Roberto Bautista announced that he can’t play anymore and retired from the tournament.

- Borna Coric advanced to the finals of the Halle Open 2018 where he will face the Swiss World No.1 Roger Federer.
Double’s: Alexander Zverev and Mischa Zverev vs Nikola Mektic and Alexander Peya
Result: Alexander Zverev and Mischa Zverev defeated Nikola Mektic and Alexander Peya by 6-3, 3-6, 10-5.
Highlights:
- Alexander Zverev and Mischa Zverev took a perfect start as they opened the scoring of the first set.
- Nikola Mektic and Alexander Peya struggled hard to chase them but unfortunately they both were only able to score three points against them.

- The match moved on to the next set but this time Nikola Mektic and Alexander Peya took the lead.
- In the end, Alexander Zverev and Mischa Zverev failed to chase them and eventually lost this set by 3-6.
- Now it was all down to the third set of the match. The German brothers opened the scoring and were extending their lead at a very fast pace.

- On the other hand, Nikola Mektic and Alexander Peya tried to recover the score but unfortunately they could not do so and again faced defeat.
- Alexander Zverev and Mischa Zverev booked their place into the final of Halle Open 2018 where they will face Marcelo Melo and Lukasz Kubot.
