Double’s: Jamie Murray and Victoria Azarenka vs Harriet Dart and Jay Clarke

Result: Jamie Murray and Victoria Azarenka defeated Harriet Dart and Jay Clarke by 6-2, 6-2.

Highlights:

  • An absolute and outrageous performance was witnessed by Jamie Murray and Victoria Azarenka in both the sets.
  • In the opening set of the match, Jamie Murray and Victoria Azarenka took the lead and were scoring points at a very fast pace.

  • However, on the other hand, Harriet Dart and Jay Clarke were dropping points constantly.
  • In the end, Jamie Murray and Victoria Azarenka gave a terrific defeat to Harriet Dart and Jay Clarke as they both did not let them to score more than a total of two points throughout the match.

  • The second set started after some time and this time Harriet Dart and Jay Clarke opened the scoring of this set.
  • But they again were losing points as Jamie Murray and Victoria Azarenka were playing greatly and were scoring confidently at a very swift pace.

  • But in the end, Jamie Murray and Victoria Azarenka finally clinched the victory in the second set easily by 6-2 and secured their place into the final of Wimbledon 2018.
  • Jamie Murray and Victoria Azarenka finally made it to the finals of Wimbledon 2018 where they will now play against Nicole Melichar and Alexander Peya.
