Int’l (Football) Champions Cup 2018 – Full Schedule
International Champions Cup was founded in 2013 and has since established itself as a major annual football tournament that features the top clubs from Europe. A unique feature of the Cup is that although the playing teams are from European clubs, interestingly as the name of the Cup evidences, each year the Cup is played in different and mostly non European global regions.
The most successful club to win this tournament is Real Madrid and has 3 titles to its name so far. Inter Milan and Barcelona are the other two successful clubs who have won this title one time each.
The most recent version of this tournament i.e. 2017 International Champions Cup was held in China, Singapore and United States. A total of 14 teams participated in it and the matches were held in 16 different cities.
Barcelona was the 2017 ICC’s winner and will be the defending champion in the upcoming International Champions Cup 2018.
In the 2018 edition, top 18 clubs of Europe will participate in the tournament. And as usual, this event will be held on three different geographical locations, including United States, Europe and Singapore (Far East).
The tournament is scheduled to start from 21st July and conclude on 12 August with a total of 27 games will be played.
