ISLAMABAD: The Semi-finals of the two tournaments – Serena Hotels CAS International for Men and Pakistan International Squash Tournament for Women were played at Mushaf Squash complex, Islamabad.

Serena Hotels CAS & Pakistan International Squash: Quarter Finals

Leo Au (Hkg) and Youseff Soliman (Egy) reached the final of CAS International Men Squash Championship, while both Egyptian players Rowan Elarby and Nada Abbas made it to the final of Pakistan International Squash Tournament for Women.

  • In the first semi final of CAS International for Men Leo Au (Hkg) beat Tayyab Aslam (Pak) by 11-9, 11-2, 11-5 (3-0), the match lasted for 47 minutes.
  • In the second semi final Youseff Soliman (Egy) beat Nafizwan Adnan (Mas) by 4-11, 11-9, 13-11, 11-6 (3-1) the match lasted for 66 minutes.

Women’s Semi-Finals

  • In the first semi final of Pakistan International Squash Tournament for Women, Rowan Elarby (Egy) beat Farida Muhammed (Egy) by 11-2, 11-6, 9-11, 11-6 (3-1) the match lasted for 36 minutes.
  • However, In the second semi final of Pakistan International Squash Tournament for Women, Nada Abbas (Egy) beat Tong Tsz-Wing (Hkg) by 11-5, 9-11, 11-3, 11-9 (3-1) the match lasted for 38 minutes.
