Match 1 of 10: Tottenham vs Liverpool

Highlights:

• Liverpool fortified their hang over the Premier League as Georginio Wijnaldum and Roberto Firmino guide them to a 2-1 triumph over Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley Stadium.
• Victors of their initial five matches out of the blue since 1990, Liverpool came back from the universal break to clear a torpid Tottenham side that failed to gain from of their 3-0 win at Manchester United.
• Firmino relatively set the tone following 45 seconds with a goal that was restricted when Sadio Mane was ruled to be offside.
• Be that as it may, Michel Vorm parried away an undertaking by Mohamed Salah following 22 minutes, as Liverpool struck first behind Wijnaldum.

Team minus Salah was awesome today. Firminio was magnificent. But let’s talk about Mane. Well, you could see it that he was determined to net that goal but that lead him to miss many chances. Individuality can be good but too much of it can be harmful to the team.#ynwa ??

• Vorm, again supplanting the hurt Hugo Lloris, punched away James Milner’s corner and Eric Dier headed it clear, yet Wijnaldum scored from a header in the 39th moment after Vorm got it behind the goal line.
• It was the important away Premier League goal for Wijnaldum and it was confirmed by goal line tech, with official Michael Oliver showing his wrist amidst grievances by Tottenham players.
• Mane relatively duplicated the lead in the 49th minute before Vorm rejected his undertaking, and Lucas Moura almost leveled out for Tottenham after his shot hit the left 50% of the net, yet Liverpool extended their use in the 54th minute on Firmino’s clear strike.

Still have City to walk it, but I’m definitely buying into Liverpool hype more than I was in summer.

Very impressive so far and feel they have gears they can kick into.

Spurs’ ‘golden era’ starting to feel like desert sand slipping through our fingers. Sad.

• Vorm failed to control the bob back after Mane’s cross from the privilege was turned onto the post by Jan Vertonghen, and Firmino accumulated himself to punch it over the goal line for his 2nd goal of the season and second in a similar number of matches.

• Manchester City: Leroy Sane 2′, David Silva 21′, Raheem Sterling 47′

Highlights:

• Manchester City easily vanquished Fulham 3-0, at the Etihad Stadium to remain inside two points of pioneers Liverpool and Chelsea.
• Leroy Sane, recalled in the wake of being left out for the squad against Newcastle United, scored inside two minutes with a short proximity finish after Fernandinho profited by sloppy passing from Fulham.

Clearly Manchester City are favourites but have to say when you’re top after 5 games with a 100% record and a squad jam packed full of out and out winners, Chelsea are going to take some stopping this season as well.

• David Silva made it 2-0 when his intense shot slammed in off the underside of the crossbar, after midfielder Bernardo Silva spared the ball close to the byline.
• Raheem Sterling made it 3-0 with the most direct of tap-ins, after Sergio Aguero completed his burst down the right and set him up with a low cross.

Match 3 of 10: Bournemouth vs Leicester City

Result: 4 – 2

• Bournemouth: Ryan Fraser 19′, 37′, Joshua King 41′ (P), Adam Smith 81′
• Leicester City: James Maddison 88′ (P), Marc Albrighton 89′

Highlights:

• Ryan Fraser scored twice as Bournemouth guaranteed a 4-2 triumph over Leicester City at the Vitality Stadium.
• Fraser delivered a twisting shot in the 19th minute to put Bournemouth ahead, and afterward multiplied the favourable position 18 minutes later, with a left-foot drive.

Bournemouth going fifth in the Premier League.

If you needed proof of Eddie Howe’s ability to improve players, today’s matchday squad made 279 combined appearances for the club in the Championship in 2014/15.

• Josh King at that point made it 3-0 with a 41st-minute penalty after Ricardo Pereira was ruled to have handled in the 18-yard box.
• Leicester defender Wes Morgan was sent off for a second yellow card in the 69th minute, and a short ways from the end, Fraser set up Adam Smith for the fourth.
• Leicester delighted in a late whirlwind with James Maddison’s 88th minute penalty and Marc Albrighton’s header a minute later.

A penalty to be taken in the Bournemouth v Leicester game at 3/1 is my best bet today.. Also wouldn’t put anyone off doing more than one penalty taken which is usually around 25/1..Definitely be at least one in this game.. Thank me later @Oddschanger

Highlights:

• A free kick by midfielder Granit Xhaka and a goal by Mesut Ozil gave Arsenal a 2-1 win at Newcastle United, regardless of a stammering first-half execution in the match.
• Newcastle’s Federico Fernandez cut down Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on the edge of the crate and Xhaka ventured up to strike a free kick into the upper right-hand corner from 30 yards.

• The lead was multiplied by Arsenal 9 minutes later, when Alexandre Lacazette’s shot was blocked and Ozil drove home the ball from the edge of the zone.
• Substitute Ciaran Clark headed home a cross from Fernandez in stoppage time to toss Newcastle a life saver, however they could not discover another goal and tumbled to their 4th annihilation in five Premier League matches this season.

Final score; Newcastle 1 – Arsenal 2.
A better 2nd half just about secured the win, but the fact our defence almost let an awful Newcastle team snatch a draw is very worrying.
Still so much improvement needed, but a 3rd straight win is the most important thing! ?#AFC
