National Junior Squash C’ships ’19: QF Day; Major Upset No. I Seed Beaten By Abdullah Nawaz
ISLAMABAD: The Quarter Finals of National Junior Squash Championships (Boys U-13 & U-15) were played today at Mushaf Squash Complex, Islamabad.
After first 2 Rounds of tournament 8 players in each category had qualified for the quarterfinals. The major upset of the day was Abdullah Nawaz of PAF playing superb stylish strokesbeat the No.1 Seed Mehmood Mehboob who plays for Punjab.
The Semi-Finals would be played on 16th September ( Monday), 2019 at 11:30 hours.
Subsequently, Boys U-17, U-19 along with Girls U-19 event would also be played at the same place between 19th – 23rd September, 2019.

- Usman Nadeem (Pb) beat Shoaib Afzal (KP) 6-11, 11-7, 11-5, 11-6 (25 Min),
- Mutahir Ali (KP) beat Azlan Khawar (Pb) 11-9, 7-11, 11-5, 9-11,11-5 (40 Min),
- Humam Ahmed (PAF) beat Ashar Butt (PB) 8-11, 11-8, 11-3, 11-7 (33 Min).
