Champions League’s Final 16 Knockout Fixtures Announced
Fans and teams eagerly awaited as the draw for UEFA Champions League’s final 16 knockout fixtures were conducted at Nyon on Monday.
Top 16 teams will faceoff during the 2020 football season from February to March. The knockout round will continue with quarterfinals, semi-finals and then the final to be held in Istanbul on March 30.
Some prominent draws include English League’s champions Manchester City facing thirteen-times champions Real Madrid and defending champions Liverpool set to face Atletico Madrid.

South Africa To Included Six Uncapped Players For England Tests
South Africa Cricket Board has announced that its planned squad for Two test match series against England early next year will include six debutant players.
The six newcomers include opener Pieter Malan, pacers Dane Paterson and Beuran Hendricks, wicketkeeper, Rudi Second, batsman Rassie van der Dussen and allrounder Dwaine Pretorius.
According to South African selector Linda Zondi, the decision to include so many uncapped cricketers in the squad reflected the board’s revised policy to provide international exposure to domestic talent.

Manchester United Takes Lauren James On Board With Pro Deal
Manchester United Women on Monday offered Lauren James her first professional deal after the forward striker’s impressive performance in the 2019 Championship.
James who had been a part of United’s squad for 18 months scored 24 goals in 39 matches and thus played a key role in it securing a spot in Women’s Superleague.
18-year-old former Arsenal striker was excited to join the United in full-time capacity calling it a ‘dream come true’.

Ben Stokes Named BBC Sports Personality Of The Year
England cricket team’s captain Ben Stokes has been awarded the prestigious BBC Sports Personality of the Year 2019 for leading the England side through the ODI World Cup victory and Ashes series.
The 28-year-old all-rounder was the key player behind both the nail-biting victory against New Zealand in the 2019 ODI World Cup final and one-wicket victory against Australia in ashes test.
Lewis Hamilton, the 2019 world champion of Formula one came in second- and 200-meters world champion Dina Asher-Smith secured the third place.

Resilient Woods Leads USA To Victory In Presidents Cup
US team managed to retain the cup on the final day of President’s cup thanks to the brilliant performance of a resurgent Tiger woods in Melbourne.
The Americans ended the day with a 16-14 victory despite starting the day with a 2 points trail. Woods defeated his South African counterpart Louis Oosthuizen by 8-4 to turn around the scoreboard and snatch an otherwise sure victory from the internationals.
US President Donald Trump was particularly ecstatic over the victory and congratulated the American squad on Twitter.
