Team Fnatic’s star player Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon has been banned from the Dota 2 for 18 years just ahead of their qualifiers for the 2020 edition of DreamLeague Season 13 Major.
Fnatic’s coach Lee “SunBhie” Jeong-jae posted a video on Twitter showing 23Savage’s player profile and global ranking.
SunBhie’s post showcases a monitor that has 23savage’s account summary page pulled up as he runs his mouse over both his rank and the Find Match button.
The short video shows that 23Savage’s main account has been banned until January 19, 2038, effectively ruling him out of several major championships in that duration.
The ban happened during a practice session as Team Fnatic were getting ready to face Team Secret in their series match before DreamLeague kicked off.
Although no immediate reason has been given for the ban, a player’s account can be banned for expressing ‘toxic behavior’ and if a player gets reported by too many fellow players.
