Despite the abnormal circumstances due to the corona virus, the gaming industries have not ceased
to work on their new games. Likewise, the famous Lego Group has also announced that the latest
Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will be out by October 2020!
The new game will be available for almost all gaming devices such as the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One
and the PlayStation 4 as well as for PCs-Personal Computers. The news was released via the official
YouTube channel of the Lego Group in a video with the caption ‘This Week in Star Wars’. Later, the
IGN-Imagine Game Network also confirmed the news.
The anticipators had feared that the release might be postponed due to the outbreak of the corona
virus, but now, with this news out they can put their worries aside.
The game will not just simply have the Star Wars characters in place but will feature all nine Star
Wars films this time, which is why this game is very close to the hearts of the fans of Legos. Even the
latest movie of the series ‘The Force Awakens’ will be a part of it!
In a recent Q&A from the official website Star Wars, it was announced that the players can now
choose from over 500 characters, which means that almost all characters would not only be
available, but could also be played with. What really left the fans smiling was that now the players
could play from any time in the timeline without any problem! The Q&A also talked about how the addition of ‘The Last Jedi’ and ‘The Rise of Skywalker’ would make the game even more enjoyable.
Nonetheless, with the conclusion of the Skywalker Saga Films, it may be said that this might be the
last Lego Star Wars game. With a history of about fifteen years, the series has assuredly been one of
those which the fans have always eagerly waited for.
