Gianluigi Buffon the Juventus goalkeeper set the record for appearing the most times in the Serie A.
He appeared for the 648th times in the Italian League while playing against Torino on Saturday.
Buffon now aged 42 had first made his debut in the Serie A for Parma in 1995 when he was 17-year-old.
The most appearance record was previously held by former AC Milan defender Paolo Maldini.
