NZC- New Zealand Cricket has formally announced confirmation of all tours – Australia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and the West Indies for their respective series.
According to NZC the respective cricket boards have confirmed that according to the FTP-Future Tour Programme the teams will tour New Zealand.
As per the FTP schedule, Pakistan is to play two Tests and three T20Is during December-January 2020-21.
NZC CEO, David White, informed that he has been in touch with other board officials, thereby, he can confirm that there will be international cricket in the coming months. As to how will the teams be isolated? Mr White said, that a similar model like England’s bio-secure bubble will be followed.
The coronavirus in New Zealand is very much in control. The lock down restrictions have been lifted with the citizens living in a normal lifestyle without any social distancing guidelines.
