Bayern Munich thrashed Barcelona 8-2 and qualified for the semifinals of the Champions League. The extraordinary game was played at the Estadio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica.
PSG-Paris Saint-Germain has already qualified for the Semis by beating Atlanta 2-1.
The scorers for Bayern Munich were – Thomas Muller and Philippe Coutinho (2 goals each), Robert Lewandowski, Ivan Perisic, Serge Gnabry and Joshua Kimmich and (1 goal each). Thomas Muller equaled Filippo Inzaghi’s goals record by netting 46 goals in the Champions League. He has also scored five goals in five games against Barcelona in the Champions League tournament.
The losing team Barcelona’s David Alaba and Luis Suarez scored a goal each.
