The oldest ironman Hiromu Inada of Japan is preparing for the IWC Ironman World Championship 2021 to be held on 9th October 2021 in Hawaii.
Earlier, the Guinnes World Record declared Inada to be the oldest ironman for his participation in IWC 2018 at the age of 85 years and 328 days. A formal certificate was granted to him in this regard.
The 87 years old Inada is now getting ready to contest IWC 2021 to set a new world record. He has to compete in swimming, bike race and marathon competitions.
World Triathlon Corporation organises IWC every year since 1978. But IWC2020 has been cancelled due to the corona virus pandemic.
