The ICC International Cricket Council honoured Pakistani bowler Mohammad Amir for All-Time-Great Opening Over by featuring his first over against Sri Lanka during the 2009 T20 World Cup.
According to the ICC records Mohammad Amir’s performance of snatching 1 wicket without giving any run is so far all time world record of opening over.
Amir started his professional career at age of 17 years for the Pakistan cricket team in 2009 against Sri Lanka. The left-arm fast bowler claimed 119 wickets in 36 tests, 81 wickets in 61 ODI’s and 59 wickets in 50 T20I’s.
