The Governing Council of IPC-Indian Premier League Governing Council and BCCI-Board of Control for Cricket held an emergency meeting and it was unanimously decided to immediately postpone IPL 2021 season.
This decision was taken due to the safety factor as recently there has been deadly upsurge of Covid 19 in India.
BCCI is doing everything possible for all IPL participants to safely departure and travel to reach their near and dear ones during these testing times.
