BWF-Badminton World Federation confirmed that Washington, USA, will host city for the BWF World Junior Championships 2023, for the first time from 24th September to 8th October 2023.
Spokane, the second largest city in the State of Washington, will host the 23rd edition of the elite junior Badminton event.
Since 1992, the BWF World Junior Championships has had its 22 previous editions hosted across the globe in 21 different cities and in all the five Continental Confederations.
BWF President Poul-Erik Høyer, state that hew as delighted that Spokane, USA will host the BWF World Junior Championships 2023,” especially being an significant economic, cultural and tourist centre, Spokane has several attractions.
Further, USA has for long been a priority circuit for developing the badminton’s profile. Thereby, the hosting of the BWF World Junior Championships makes it an important step in this direction. And with with presence of International Badminton stars a very high standard of badminton will be played, which would also leave a legacy for USA Badminton to build on.
