The Chinese group – Rossoneri Sport Investment Lux, led by Chinese businessman Yonghong Li has signed a takeover deal of AC Milan for £628 million.
The club has been owned for 31 years (since 1986) by the ex-Italy prime minister, Silvio Berlusconi. During this time the club had won won five European Cups and eight league titles. However, during the last 3 seasons they have been at 7th , 10th and 8th positions. And presently are 6th in the league. However, Milan have not won Serie A since 2011 and finished seventh, 10th and eighth in the last three seasons.
