In most of main leagues across Europe the Matchday concluded on Sunday, as the football season across Europe draws to a close. However, action continued on 8th Monday in English and Italian Football legaues as many rescheduled and adjusted matches were played. La Liga
Ten matches were decided in the Spanish top league on Matchday 33 of 38 which culminated on 5th May. The results are given below.

Marseille are 3rd with 70 and Monaco on 4th with 64 points on the table. At the bottom, Ajaccio (23) Troyes (22) and Angers (14) are almost sure to be relegated. Matchday 35 will start on 13 May.
English Premier League
Heightened activity is being witnessed in EPL as lot of rescheduling is required to adjust EPL teams’ involvement in many European championships as well as other domestic tournaments. Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag has called the constantly evolving rescheduling as terrible and a big reason for recent slump in his team’s performance who have lost two and drawn one out of their last five matches. Manchester City and Liverpool are on a roll, winning their last 5 matches in EPL on the trot. Chelsea also picked up a win after four successive losses. Nonetheless, Matchday 35 of 38 witnessed 10 matches on the weekend as well as on Monday. Results are given below.

With a win over bottom placed Southampton, Nottingham Forest have enhanced their safety margin as last week they were in the relegation zone. Leicester City (30) is back in the zone after briefly staying out of the bottom list. Leeds United are second-last and Southampton (24) are in the relegation zone.
