Pakistan Wins Second Test & Series
Young Naseem Shah claimed five wickets to dismiss Sri Lanka on 212 chasing 478 thus leading Pakistan to a resounding victory of 263 runs against Sri Lanka on the fifth day of the second test in Karachi.
Pakistan also clinched the two-match series against Sri Lanka 1-0 on Monday as the first test between the two in Rawalpindi ended in a draw due to rain and overcast weather.
The two-match series was a part of the ICC World test championship and Pakistan climbed up to the number 3 spot after today’s victory.
India Downs West Indies
India chased 316 on Sunday night with eight balls and four wickets remaining to win the third ODI against West Indies thanks to skipper Virat Kohli’s quick 85.
India also claimed the three-match ODI series 3-0 as star batsmen Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma set new batting records.
Philander Announces Retirement
South Africa all-rounder Vernon Philander has announced retirement from all forms of international cricket citing personal reasons.
Philander who debuted in 2007 has 1619 runs and 216 wickets to his credit in the 60 tests along with 151 runs and 41 wickets in 30 ODIs.

Fighters Of The Decade Announced
Yahoo Sports on Monday declared Jon Jones (male) and Amanda Nunes (female) as Fighters of the Decade (2010-2019) for their multiple achievements during that time period.
Amanda Nunes won 15 out of her 18 fights in the recent decade and beat top fighters including Ronda Rousey, Miesha Tate, Holly Holm, Cris “Cyborg” Justino and Valentina Shevchenko.
Jon Jones won UFC light heavyweight championship in 2011 and went on to win 16 top matches with great finishes. He fought and beat several prominent fighters including Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, Lyoto Machida, Rashad Evans, Vitor Belfort and Daniel Cormier.

Chelsea Win Marred By Racist Chants
Chelsea’s 2-0 victory over Tottenham in the Premier League match was overshadowed by unruly behavior and racist chants by the crowd.
Chelsea player Antonio Rudiger who is African descent complained to his captain in 63rd minute of racist slogans and monkey noises from the crowd. The complaint was then forwarded to the match referee.
Boxing
Charlo Crowned Double Champion
Jermell Charlo beat Tony Harrison with three knockdowns to claim WBC super welterweight champion title in an evenly matched that lasted for 11 rounds.
Charlo has already won the welterweight title in 2017 and is now looking to light-middleweight with a planned fight against Julian Williams.
