This becomes even more important if you spend most of your day sitting on a chair as any type of slouching may lead to a bad posture which in turn will hinder your progress in gaining height.
Here are some tips in which you can practice a good posture while standing:
- Shoulders should be kept back.
- Head level should be in line with the body.
- Feet should be shoulder width apart.
- Locking knees should be avoided.
- Arms should hang naturally by the sides.
For sitting here are some tips to maintain a good posture:
- You thighs should always be parallel and your feet should be touching the floor.
- Crossing legs should be avoided.
- For support, a pillow or towel should be kept.
- Shoulders should be rested comfortably.
- In case your are using a computer or laptop then it should be in direct contact with your eye level to avoid neck strain and maintain a good posture.
When you incorporate the above mentioned ways you may get a good posture which will lead you give the proper space between the vertebra. And, doing this might help you to appear taller and also aid you to increase height.
