#3 Exercise Regularly
Hanging from a bar or pull-ups have long been attributed in increasing one’s height. Although, it is partially true, however, there are way more effective exercises than the pull-up that may produce space between your growth plates, which in turn may increase height.

Cobra Stretch
Doing this exercise has a direct affect on your shoulder, spine and neck. This stretch not only helps you to release tension but also strengthens your muscles.
Doing this stretch on a regular basis helps you to elongate your upper body which in turn allows you to add a few extra inches your height.
How to perform this exercise?
- Lie on the floor or a mat, with your face down and centered towards the floor.
- Press both your hands into the floor while pulling your shoulders slightly back.
- Lift into the cobra with the help of your abdominal muscles while bending your back backwards.
- Hold the position for 10-20 seconds and repeat it with 3-5 sets.

Pelvic Shift
This exercise targets your calf, thigh, abdomen and spine muscles. Performing this exercise induces growth in the aforementioned muscles which then aids you in increasing your height.
How to perform this exercise?
- Lay down on your back with your palms placed by your side.
- Bend your legs while simultaneously pushing your pelvis upward.
- The slowly go back to the initial position.
- Repeat this process 8-10 times for a total of 3-5 sets.

Superman
Doing this exercise effectively allows your back to get active which in turn produces space between your growth plates. However, like any other exercise the key is proper technique and only then can this activity can help you in increasing your height.
How to perform this exercise?
- Lie down on your stomach with your face pointing on the floor.
- Now, extend both your arms in front of you and keep your toes pointed outwards. In short, imagine that you are flying like a superman.
- Hold the pose for 5-10 seconds.
- Then exhale the air out of your lungs and come back to the starting position.
- Repeat this process 5-6 times for a total of 3-5 sets.
Note: If you are not feeling the stretch in your core, chest, arms and shoulders then you should revisit the proper technique and try again.

Jumping Rope
The last one in our list is the jump rope. Doing this exercise with the proper technique helps you to stretch your spine plus your back muscles.
This allows you get slimmer with the added benefit of adding a few inches by producing space between your growth plates, which allows you to increase height.
How to perform this exercise?
- Stand in a proper posture with your shoulders relaxed, feet together and your core engaged.
- Now, make a slight bend in your knees and use the force of your arms and elbows to propel you body in the air while simultaneously passing the rope under you.
- Jump as high as possible and land on your feet with your knees bent to prevent injury.
- Repeat this 20-25 times for 3-4 sets or more if you have the endurance level to do it.
