Magic, Illusion, Tricks of various sorts are considered to be probably the oldest form of performing arts in the world. And card tricks rather illusion or manipulation is among the most practiced form in magical performances.
And now these physical and hand magic’s have also become part of the information technology. Such is a video which you may have just seen.
The video starts off with 6 cards and like in all card tricks, you have to pick one and albeit reluctantly, you do so because card tricks never seem to lose their strange allure. So you participate and then the music picks up pace and gets more mysterious by the minute after which there is an amusing eye contact followed by the card you have chosen suddenly disappearing and leaving you bewildered but it only lasts a second because after the initial instantaneous disbelief wears off it’s a simple ploy to catch your eye because the explanation is not only simple but absolutely transparent.
So there are 6 cards that are being displayed on the screen initially. There is the King of Clubs and Diamond, the Queen of Hearts and Diamond and the Jack of Clubs and Spade. They ask you to choose a card and keep it in your mind and keep thinking on it as if your brain is generating some signals that will somehow make it to the physical world and convey to the illusionist through that jocular eye contact. The dramatic beat gives the whole illusion a kick. In the end we are dramatically shown 5 cards and the card that you chose is mysteriously gone.

The 5 cards that were shown at the end are all different from those previously presented to be chosen from. So whatever card you choose in the beginning does not matter because it will not be in the group of cards that they show in the end.
