The former British right arm medium fast bowler and right hand batsman David Chapel died (May his soul rest in peace) in Sheffield at the age of 57 years. He was suffering from brain tumour since 2018.
Chapel was born on 6th February 1963 in Northampton and played for England National Team and Northamptonshire.
He scored 3 fifties and claimed 38 wickets as all-rounder. Chapel took 21 wickets in 15 Tests during 1987 to 1990. His best Test bowling was 3-88.
Further, he took 17 wickets in 23 ODIs One day Internationals. His best ODI bowling was 3-38.
He also served as coach for the Bandladesh Women’s Team as well as England Women’s Team.
