Bangladesh beat Sri Lanka by 137 runs, to win their first match of the Asia Cup 2018. It was a simple win for Bangladesh as they limited Sri Lanka to 124 in 35.2 overs.
Prior, Mushfiqur Rahim’s fantastic 144 runs in the first innings, drove Bangladesh to an aggressive total of 261 runs at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

This was additionally Mushfiqur Rahim’s highest ODI score. At a certain point Bangladesh were 1/2, but in the end they managed to score 261 runs out of 49.3 overs. For Sri Lanka, Lasith Malinga stowed four wickets while Dhananjaya de Silva got two wickets.
