3rd Asian Jiu-Jitsu Championship 2018: Pak Team Announced

Pakistan Jui-Jitsu Federation (PJJF) announced sending of a 6 member national team for participation in the 3rd Asian Jui-Jitsu Championship 2018 being held in Aktau, Kazakhstan from July 11-14, 2018.

According to a PJJF official, the team will consist of five male players and one female player who would participate in the championship.

The Pakistan National Jui-Jitsu team has had an encouraging 2018 as they had won 2 silver and 1 bronze medals in the Thailand Open World Ranking Jui-Jitsu event held in Bangkok during June 2018.

The players include:

  • Muhammad Ali Rasheed
  • Dilawar Khan Sannan
  • Muhammad Mumtaz
  • Haseeb Ul Hasan
  • Shahid Khan
  • Fatima Irfan

The Officials are:

  • Mr. Tehseen Ullah – Team Coach
  • Mr. Shiekh Arshad Jabbar – Team Manager
  • Mr. Tariq Ali – Referee of the event

The PJJF officials elaborated that they had arranged for the best possible training of the athletes in collaboration with Pakistan Sports Board in Lahore. The focus is also to use this event to prepare event for the Asian Games 2018.
