Armand Duplantis of Sweden set a new World Record in the Athletics Outdoor Pole Vault for Men’s during the Diamond League 2020 held in Italy.
The Swedish Duplantis pole vaulted 6.15 metres and set the new world record. His first attempt failed but he was victorious during the second attempt. Duplantis also holds the Indoor World Pole Vault record of 6.18 metres set in Glasgow during 2020 season.
The previous record outdoor record was held by the 26 years old Sergey Bubka with the height of 6.14 metres in Sestriere, Italy during July 1994.
