James’s phenomenal performance was supplemented by Kyle Kuzma’s 24 and Anthony Davis’s 20 points. Rajon Rondo and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope also chipped in with 15 and 13 points respectively to give the Lakers a break from their worst-ever seasonal performance.
Portland Trail Blazers were leading the scoreboard, in the beginning, thanks to Damian Lillard’s record 31 points but were left behind as Hassan Whiteside and CJ McCollum were repeatedly blocked from scoring points by a robust lakers’ defense in the final minutes.
