2nd Pakistan Petroleum Blind Cricket Trophy 2018: Day 1
PESHAWAR: The 2nd edition of Pakistan Petroleum (PPL) Blind Cricket Trophy commenced today at Peshawar.
1st Match:
Peshawar vs Abbottabad
Venue: Arbab Niaz Stadium, Peshawar
Abbottabad won the toss and asked Peshawar to take guard. Match started late due to foggy weather and was reduced to 18 overs a side. Peshawar batsmen hammered the opponent bowling and made enormous 270 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in stipulated 18 overs. Mohsin Khan played outstanding innings of 98 runs off 47 balls and Sana Ullah made 35 runs. Sohaib took 3 wickets by giving away 45 runs.
Abbottabad chasing the huge total couldn’t make an impact and were bowled out on 175 runs in 17.5 overs. Naeem Ullah remained their top scorer with 55 runs and Mati Ullah scored 30 runs. Roh-ul-Ameen, Mohsin Khan and Safhiullah claimed 2 wickets each.
Result: Peshawar won by 95 runs Man of the Match: Mohsin Khan
Mr. Kamran Khan Bangash, Minister for Science and Technology KPK, Mr. Saeed Ullah Shah Managing Director PPL, Dr. Tanveer Additional Secretary Federal Ministry of Petroleum, Syed Sultan Shah Chairman PBCC inaugurated the event.

Syed Sultan Shah Chairman PBCC requested the Government to develop a customize screen reader (text to speech) software in Urdu language for the visually impaired persons and Government must implement the 2% job placement quota for disabled persons. He also thanked the PPL for their continuous support for the development of Cricket of the Blind in Pakistan.
Minister for Science and Technology assured that Government will consider these requests earnestly.
