Breaking-20th Asia & Middle East Bridge C’ship ’19: Pak Women Win Gold; Outplay India
AMMAN: The Pakistan Women team won the Gold Medal of Asia and Middle East Bridge Championship 2019, which conclude today in Amman, Jordan.
The Pakistan verses India Final encounter was dominated by the Pakistan team and they outclassed India, to the extent that the Indian team decided not contest the Final segment due to Pakistan’s extra ordinary lead.
Earlier the Pakistan Women team washed out the host Jordanian team 77-8.
With this win the Pakistan Women team has qualified for a berth in the Women’s World Championship 2019, which will be commence from 28th September 2019 in Wuhan, China.
